Job Purpose: To provide strategic leadership for our CYF ministry teams in order to share Jesus, disciple and integrate young people within the church and the wider local community.

Role Profile
We are looking for someone to advocate for the young people in the church and beyond, finding creative ways to involve them more fully in the life of the church and vice versa. The role will be split fairly equally between outward and inward ministries, with plenty of scope to prayerfully help the church discern how God is leading us to reach the youth in our local community.
We are committed to supporting you to oversee and strategically develop our CYF ministries, rather than do it for us. We will not expect you to lead each CYF ministry area, we want to rely on members (and God!) for ministries to operate not just staff. You will do this by supporting and releasing our team of gifted and passionate CYF leaders and by supporting, equipping and encouraging our large base of volunteer helpers.
We also recognise the importance of your own relationship with Jesus and as part of this we are committed to ensuring you are regularly able to worship as a valued part of the church family, rather than always being out with the children or youth groups. Most importantly, we are looking to discern who God is calling to this important strategic role within our leadership team. What we will provide:
· Salary £28-32k depending on experience
· Annual Leave of 25 days plus bank holidays
· We commit to providing prayer, practical support and volunteers. We do not expect to outsource all our ministry to staff.
· We will value you as part of the church family and ensure that you are able to worship with us regularly on Sunday mornings, not always out with the young people.

· Administrative support from our Administrator.
· Opportunities to grow and develop gifting as appropriate (in and/or beyond CYF ministry).
· The church will also pay for you to attend the yearly regional conference and another of your choosing.
