Adrian Semerene
Hey! My name is Adrian and I’m the Lead Pastor at Gamlingay Baptist Church, in the rural setting on the border of Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire. While many think I’m American (or Canadian after that first initial guess), I am actually Cambridge born, though I’ve lived in many places around the world. I have been at GBC since October 2016, and has seen great change and growth in the church, including the establishment of The Backroom Cafe, and The Gamlingay Food Project, which are big parts of the communities outreach. I’m married to Amanda, and together have three amazing kids, that bring them joy, blessings and plenty of laughter.
My passions are for unity among the church, seeing all of God’s people, moving together, experiencing God, and sharing the good news and advancing God’s Kingdom in many spaces and places. I am a ‘creative’ of sorts, and enjoy sharing faith in creative digital ways, as well as through spoken word and performance (I have a huge passion for music and art, though not necessarily gifted in these mediums). I love a good coffee and I’m always up for deep honest, open and transparent (H.O.T) conversation about all things, big or small.
