The Operations Lead is a full time staff role within Chichester Baptist Church (CBC), and the role holder will work with the Ministers and Staff Team to ensure the effective delivery of all operations, administration and communication within the church, overseeing the operational structures and support systems that will enable the church to grow and develop.
The role requires
A committed Christian willing to fully embrace and be part of the family of the church
Someone excited by the vision and direction of our church
An understanding, and some previous experience, of the operations and administrative tasks involved in running a church or similar charitable organisation
A proactive and strategic thinker, able to review and improve processes
Excellent understanding of computer systems and tools
Excellent interpersonal and relational skills. Operations involves people beyond the systems and so the ability to communicate and navigate is vital.
Someone adaptable, flexible and interruptible, comfortable with the breadth and variety of a busy church.
Someone with a flair for creativity.
A self-starter, self-motivated and able to organise and prioritise time and workload.
The role requires someone who is able to work onsite.
This is a strategic, leadership role which will grow and develop as the church seeks to be missionally shaped.
The salary offered will be in the range £30K-£35k depending on your skills and experience.
