We are pleased to announce 2 of our guest speakers for the 2026 National Leadership Conference, these are Kate Coleman and Lisa Holmes.

We hope to announce more speakers in the coming months, so look out here or on our socials.

We are moving venue and we are going to the Yarnfield Park Conference Centre in Staffordshire

The early bird cost is £230 for single occupancy en-suite room and all meals. If you are coming together as husband and wife, or you are willing to share, then this drops to £200 per person. Early bird ends midnight on 25th April!

If you would like to join us for the day, Tuesday 13th, the early bird cost is £60 per person, including lunch and evening meal.

Online bookings only and payment is taken by credit/debit card at time of booking.

Lisa has been a Baptist minister for 30 years! The majority of that time was at Skipton Baptist Church, North Yorkshire where she was Lead Minister for the last 8 years. In September 2021 she took up a role on the National Team of the Baptist Union of Scotland as Deeper Church Lead focussing on spiritual formation, prayer, leadership and pastoral care of ministers. She is also on the Spring Harvest Planning Group and the EA Council and used to be on the Leadership Team of Fresh Streams. She is currently training to become a Spiritual Director with the organisation Sustainable Faith. She is married to Mike with 2 children, one cat and a whippet. She lives near Loch Lomond and enjoys hiking and the outdoors, music and chats with friends.

Kate Coleman

Kate Coleman

Kate is the founding director of Next Leadership. She has 35 years of leadership experience in the church, charity, voluntary, and business sectors, and is a mentor and coach to leaders from diverse sectors, backgrounds, and communities. Kate was the first black woman Baptist minister in the UK and has been recognised as one of the 20 most influential black Christian women leaders in the country. A popular speaker, lecturer and author, Kate has gained a reputation as a pioneer, visionary, and an inspiration to many. She now serves as a strategic advisor who mentors, coaches, and supports leaders and organisations locally, nationally in the UK, and internationally around the globe with a network extending across all sectors and church denominations.
